The options are seemingly endless for mobility scooter accessories.  If you are looking for ways to improve your scooter ride, you should have no trouble finding some mobility scooter accessories that will work great.  To give you an idea of what is available, here is a list of some the accessories available on the market today: 

1.  Scooter covers and canopies. 

Scooter covers and canopies work great at providing your scooter some extra protection.  The scooter covers will help keep your scooter free from rain, insects, dust and the effects of  oxidation.  These generally have a price range from $50 to $80.  Now, for scooter canopies, these work great at giving you a little more protection from the sun.  A great device to have during the summers whether you are watching your kids or grandkids play sports games or when going for a ride in the park.  They will keep the sun off your back and can be had for $150. 

2.  Packs, Backpacks, and Glove Boxes. 

Mobility Scooter Accessories have a number of items that work great at giving you extra storage. A number of side bags can be affixed to one of the arm rests of your scooter.  These work great at holder the smaller items, particularly ones that you will need to keep handy.  For larger items, you can store these in either a glove box that can be installed under your seat or in backpack that hangs off the back of your chair.  These various storage spots work great for giving your extra storage space without interfering with your driving and range of motion.  Most of these items can be had for under $30. 

3.  Holders of various types. 

Whether you are looking for a simple cup holder for your drink or something a little more elaborate like a crutch or cane holder, you can track down items that will serve these functions for your scooter.  The crutch and cane holder will actually be placed on the back of your scooter allowing you free range of motion and the cup holder can be housed by one of the arm rests or at the base of the tiller.  Regardless, these additions are relatively inexpensive as they are all individually priced under $40. 

4.  Lifts, Ramps and Scooter Batteries. 

If you are looking for making scooter riding easier, you should look into the various lifts and ramps.  This will help make it faster for you to move in and out of your home or to place your scooter on your car.  In addition, you can purchase larger mobility scooter batteries which will allow you to travel farther distances.  Simply put, these accessories can help allow you to use your scooter more often and extend your traveling zone.  Each of these items varies in price: Scooter batteries can be had from anywhere from $100 to over $200.  Ramps and lifts will vary ranging from under $1000 to several thousand.
