The price tag for these scooters runs about $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the model and features; however, an increasing number of the scooters are purchased with insurance.  This helps reduce the cost and allows for more individuals to use these scooters.  These scooters popularity is expected to continue to grow as baby boomers continue to age.  These scooters serve a vital need in our community and, I look forward to seeing them continue to improve in function and design.  As it stands now, they are very effective at helping provide service to an underserved part of our community that will only grow larger as the baby boomer generation ages.
